Did you know that having "danggit" (dried fish) and "pusit" (dried squid) as hand carry baggages on airlines are not permitted in Philippine airports? ๐Ÿ˜„ It's because of their strong salty and fishy smell that will cling on to your dress if you buy one. It's like, the "I know what you ate last lunch" smell on your dress. . . The Danggit and dried pusit are some of my wife's favorite breakfast food. Partnered with "sinangag" (fried rice with either butter and garlic) with "tutong" (crispy rice from being fried) and coffee - perfect morning for her. ๐Ÿ˜„ ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ Danggit and dried pusit are common on sea side cities / towns in the Philippines but the Taboan Public Market in Cebu is almost dedicated to these delicacies including fish tocino (my favorite), dried mangoes in 1kg packs, Cebu baked delicacies, and other dried fishes in large buckets displayed like these. When you buy from them, the vendors not only seal then in plastics, they also box your stuff for check-in purposes. Remember to take extra shirts and enjoy your breakfast!! ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿค™๐Ÿผ . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ๐Ÿ“Taboan Public Market, Cebu, Philippines ๐Ÿ“ธ: GoPro Hero6 #jirehjournals . . . . . . . . . #thediscoverer #explorephmag #travelwriter #wimadventures #discovermnl #traveldeeper #philippines #travelstoriesph #trylocalph #photooftheday #explore #instagood #woogoph #FilipinoTravel #worldnomads #getoutside #travelstoke #passionpassport #outdoors #beautifuldestinations #stayandwander #gopro #goprohero6 #goprohero #goproph
